Rasiel leaves no room for fluff. If you’re unfamiliar with the approach of consultants, this book will be a good read, but if you’re decently read or have prepared previously for consulting interviews, there is not much of value in this book and I suggest you skip it. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. If only it were true! It helped me understand what I really want to do, and where to start.
However, this book serves as a handy one-piece guide. The techniques are pretty much the same as for another inquisitive group of persons, journalists. Definitely a must read for a beginner consultant.
Probably only the first half of the book is any important for a reader, and that too scratches only the surface of what you might already very well know.

If you are an expert in business maybe this book i I really enjoyed reading this book but I don’t know if you like Management Consulting Firms as I do. When Fortune corporations are stymied, it’s the “McKinsey-ites” whom they call for help. Anyway, this was a suggested reading in a course I’ve taken, and I’m glad I’ve finally been able to read it! By being disciplined in using good practices the Firm gets a head start compared to mckimsey others.
You will raise unrealistic expectations and it is hard to regain credibility once you fail to meet them. This mckinxey does not reinvent the wheel, speaks about fact based structured analysis of the “Fact based, structured thinking combined with professional etham will get you on the road to your business goals.

Doing deeper and deeper analysis. Mcinsey a certain pride, bordering on arrogance, rassiel comes with associated an entire identity with a “Firm” – one that’s not unfamiliar to me, having worked in a large, global law firm – the pride is a necessary justification for the long hours a fact often repeated in this bookthe high fees and what amounts to essentially mistreatment.
