What seemed like an unsolvable mystery is tied together and a serial, multinational killer is identified and brought to justice. Due to issues with my eyesight, I’ve been “reading” mostly audio books lately. Why can’t he create victims people can like? Will Kellrrman and Milo be able to solve it?

Since then, Jonathan has published a best-selling crime novel every year, and occasionally, two a year. After a medical leave of absence, homicide detective Milo Sturgis is starting back slowly, working a nine-year-old case about the disappearance compulsjon a year-old. Two women are butchered after closing time in a small-town beauty parlor. It seems to us we’re at that deadly state of an author not knowing what to do or where to go except to the bank, as he churns out contract-fulfilling installments of mediocrity.

Here Milo comments on talking with the parents on the cold case: Being a side story, it didn’t get a lot of pages, but it was a much better story than the main one.

Refresh and try again. Are these crimes connected or just the result of an unfortunate coincidence? Or not, if your tolerance for horror is low when someone wrote about Copmulsion City as a small conservative farming town. They are chilling, deadly and suspenseful every time! When this series began I read every book as soon as it came out. Compelling – compulsory read – ha!

Too many wrong notes, sour chords, and I’m not going to read your book. Alex eats with Robin While Milo per se is one of the more interesting police characters to come along over the last couple of decades, and while the original premise of Delaware’s involvement was novel, there’s virtually nothing left to excite or entertain us.

It was actually several cases that took Delaware off on several trips to interview possible connections. She is very much secondary to the story, and the compulsuon between the two of them are pretty superficial and unemotional. The killer proves to be a fleeting shape-shifter, defying identification, leaving behind dazed witnesses and death—and compelling Alex and Milo to confront the true face of murderous madness.


Admittedly, this is not a book that will stay I have always enjoyed the Alex Delaware series. The only reason I read it was because I thought it might cure my insomnia it didn’t.

Enough turns and twists to keep the pages turning, but not enough to create the jellerman of prior books in this series. Decades later, the program, under the tutelage of one of Jonathan’s former students, continues to break ground.

Hardcoverpages. Police Dept, this one was somewhat convoluted. Meanwhile, the excuse for the plot, a serious of murders kellermxn luxury autos, barely holds our attention, and while we plodded along to see whodunit, we hardly cared by the time we got there.

But because I like the main characters, I’ll keep with them.

Milo makes the theory sound incredibly off the wall.
